WQB Mold Removal is a Lynbrook, NY-based remediation company built around one idea: tell the customer the truth about what's in their walls, then fix it properly the first time.
Our field techs are equipped with negative-air machines, HEPA filtration units, and borescopes for checking inside wall cavities without tearing the whole thing open unnecessarily.
Licensed, insured, and background-checked before they ever knock on your door, our team treats your home like it's the one they'd want worked on.
Our approach starts with a moisture map of the whole affected area, because treating one wall while an adjacent cavity keeps feeding the problem just means a return visit six months later.
We also work directly with a network of Lynbrook-area contractors when a job needs drywall replacement, plumbing repair, or roofing work after remediation is complete, so you're not left juggling three different companies.
Some of the worst colonization in Lynbrook homes happens somewhere you'd never think to check.
That earthy odor in a closet or crawl space is often the first real clue, long before anything is visible. Candles and air fresheners might mask it for an afternoon, but the smell almost always returns by the next day.
Any Lynbrook property with a prior roof leak, burst pipe, or flooding event is at higher risk if the drying wasn't done professionally. If a previous restoration job skipped moisture readings before closing the walls back up, hidden growth can sit undetected for months.
If symptoms clear up on vacation and come back the moment you're home in Lynbrook, your indoor air quality deserves a look. Air quality testing can confirm or rule out mold as the cause before you spend money chasing the wrong culprit.
Green, black, or gray speckling around windows, vents, or baseboards is often just the visible tip of a larger colony. Don't assume a small visible patch means a small problem — the portion behind the drywall is often much larger.
From a single bathroom to a flooded crawl space, our Lynbrook crews scale the response to match the actual problem.
Our emergency teams arrive with containment barriers and air scrubbers ready to deploy the moment they walk in. Extraction equipment and industrial dehumidifiers go in immediately to slow the moisture before it ever has a chance to seed a new colony.
We isolate the affected area with plastic sheeting and negative air pressure so spores don't spread to the rest of your Lynbrook home during the work. We'll also flag any structural repair the job needs and put you in touch with a trusted Lynbrook tradesperson if it's outside our scope.
Retail spaces, offices, and multi-unit buildings in Lynbrook, NY often need remediation scheduled around business hours to limit disruption. We're comfortable working evenings or weekends on commercial jobs when that's what keeps a Lynbrook business running without interruption.
Lab results typically come back within a few business days, giving you documented proof of what was found. A written inspection report is available for real estate transactions, refinancing, or your own peace of mind about a Lynbrook property.
These tight spaces require specialized equipment and technicians trained to work safely in confined areas. We often find the crawl space is the real source of a musty smell upstairs, even in Lynbrook homes where the visible living space looks perfectly clean.
Dehumidification recommendations and moisture monitoring can keep a treated space from becoming a repeat customer. A small investment in prevention is almost always cheaper than paying for the same remediation twice.
No surprises, no vague timelines — here's exactly what happens once you call +1-844-578-1604.
Tell our dispatcher what you're seeing and smelling, and we'll get a technician on the calendar, often same-day for Lynbrook addresses. Have a rough sense of when the problem started if you can — it helps us plan the visit.
We walk the property with a moisture meter and, when needed, take air or surface samples for lab analysis. We point out exactly what we're seeing as we go, not just at the end.
Negative air machines keep spores from traveling to unaffected rooms while the work is underway. We keep the work area as clean and orderly as the job allows throughout.
A final clearance test confirms spore counts are back to normal before we consider the job finished. Any lingering questions get answered on the spot before we pack up.
We quote a flat rate before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice waiting for you at the end.
We keep a dedicated crew covering Lynbrook, NY so response times don't balloon during peak humidity season.
Every job includes documented before-and-after testing, not just a verbal assurance that "it's handled."
And if something doesn't sit right after we leave, our satisfaction guarantee means we come back and make it right at no extra charge.
We also try to be upfront about what we can't fix on day one — if a Lynbrook home has an underlying roof or plumbing issue causing repeat moisture intrusion, we'll say so plainly instead of quietly re-treating the same spot every year.
Local reputation matters more to a small Lynbrook-area crew than a national franchise ever has to worry about, and that keeps us honest about scope, pricing, and timelines.
We stand behind every remediation job with a written guarantee, not just a handshake, because your peace of mind matters as much as the finished work.

The questions we hear before nearly every job.
Most Lynbrook calls get a technician on-site the same day, and active emergencies are prioritized ahead of routine inspections. If you're dealing with active water intrusion, mention that when you call so we can flag the job as urgent.
Yes — every job gets a flat-rate, itemized quote before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice at the end. We're happy to walk through the line items with you over the phone before you commit to anything.
Our on-call crew handles active flooding, sewage backups, and sudden mold discovery around the clock, including nights and weekends. Emergency visits include temporary containment to keep the problem from spreading while the full remediation plan is put together.
Testing typically takes a few business days, and you receive a written lab report with the results. Knowing the species matters because some, like Stachybotrys, call for stricter containment protocols than common surface mildew.
Some policies cover mold tied to a sudden pipe burst but exclude long-term humidity issues, so it's worth checking your specific policy language. We're glad to speak directly with your adjuster if that helps move your Lynbrook claim along faster.
A single bathroom or small closet can often be completed in a day, while larger crawl space or whole-home jobs may take three to five days. We'll give you a realistic timeline estimate after the initial inspection rather than a generic number pulled from a brochure.
For most localized jobs, containment keeps the rest of the home livable, though we may recommend staying elsewhere for extensive whole-house treatment. We'll always tell you honestly if we think you should stay elsewhere rather than downplay it to keep the job simpler on our end.
We recommend keeping children and pets away from the containment zone until the area passes clearance testing. HEPA filtration during the job significantly reduces airborne spore counts outside the sealed work area.
Post-remediation testing confirms spore counts returned to normal, and our guarantee covers regrowth tied to our workmanship. If the same conditions caused a prior remediation to fail, we'll flag that risk clearly before starting the new job.
Our dispatcher can walk you through what an initial visit includes when you call to schedule. Inspection availability sometimes shifts during peak humidity months when call volume runs higher across Lynbrook, NY.
"Removal" implies eliminating all mold entirely, which isn't realistic since spores exist naturally everywhere, while "remediation" means returning spore levels to a normal, safe range. What actually matters is whether your indoor levels match what's normal for outdoor air in Lynbrook, NY, and testing confirms that.
DIY treatment can also mask a problem temporarily, which sometimes delays proper remediation until the issue has spread further. For small, non-porous surfaces a simple cleaning may be fine, but anything on drywall, wood, or carpet usually needs a professional look.
